Read the table about state verbs and action verbs.
Ex. 11 p. 16 Read the sentences and say which verbs express states and which verbs express actions.

Ex. 7 p. 13 Read the text and discuss the questions in pairs. Now lets discuss them all together.
Ex. 8 p. 14 Read the British and American parents common expressions that teenagers hear from them.
Get into groups of four. Discuss what parents mean when they use them.
