Students Book p. 76, ex. 3. Do it in pairs. Give st-s 2 minutes to complete the task. Read your answers to other pair of students and compare your sentences. Read similar sentences aloud.
2. First Conditional (5 min)

If we dont stop the pollution, we will destroy our planet.
We will pollute the environment if we throw rubbish everywhere.
This type of conditionals is called the first conditional.
Analyze the sentences:
What tenses are used in if clause and in main clause? (Pr. S. , F. S. )
Translate the sentences. Do these sentences describe real or unreal situations? Do they refer to the Past, Present or Future? (real/ possible situations and their consequences that we may have in the future).
When do we use a comma in the first conditional? When if clause comes first.

a) Introduce the idea of Murphy law (закон подлости): the opposite of what you want/expect is what usually happens. For example: If I learn all my homework, my teacher wont ask me. If I dont, my teacher will surely ask me.
