Group peculiarities: Students aged 15-16, the number of girls (8) prevails over the number of boys (6) in the group. Some students are of B1 level in the English language, however, there are those whose level is not sufficient for B1.

Warming up: Vocabulary ping-pong. (2-3min. )
Think of the environmental problems and the vocabulary we use to describe them. We are going to have two teams, each team has to give one word at a time. The team that stops first loses the game.
Global warming/ air pollution/ oil spill/ nuclear disaster/ waste of water, etc.

Basic part (35 min)
1. Introduction (1-2 min)
Match the halves of the sentences: (P. P. P. )
1. If I have a shower
2. If I leave a room
3. You waste water
a) if you dont turn off the taps
b) I try to be as fast as possible
c) I switch off the lights
1. b, 2. c, 3. a.
1. 1. Zero Conditional (5-7 min)
Elicit the complete sentences, write them on the bl - b.
1. If I have a shower, I try to be as fast as possible.
2. If I leave a room, I switch off the lights.
3. You waste water if you dont turn off the taps.
Whats in common with all these sentences? (if) So, its CONDITIONAL. To be exact, it is zero conditional. (Say the same in Russian, if necessary)
Every conditional has a main clause and if clause. Circle them in the sentences.
What tense do we use in if clause/ main clause in the zero conditional?
