Activity 1: WARM - UP.
AIMS:
to create a nice friendly atmosphere;
to check their previous acquisition and prepare Ss for the lesson;
Teacher greets Ss and vice versa.
Teacher writes down the absentees.
T asks Ss several questions about weather and their mood. Chatting in English at the beginning of the lesson, T creates an English language atmosphere, establishing contact between her and Ss, and helps Ss to feel relaxed.

ACTIVITY 2: LEAD - IN.
AIMS:
to get Ss involved into the topic;
to raise their interest for the lesson.
T announces them the subject of the lesson and writes the title of the lesson on the board. T draws a table on the board with 2 columns: 1. what do you know about the topic? 2. What have you learnt? T asks Ss to complete the first column. Then, T asks Ss to say a word referring to an activity they do every day. T models an example for Ss if necessary: . i. e. "wake up" - T mimes the activity. T lets Ss use L1 if necessary. Ss brainstorm and come up with other words.

ACTIVITY 3: PRESENTATION.
AIMS:
to elicit the new vocabulary;
to practice pronunciation;
to teach grammar in "an innocent way".
T cuts out and uses the necessary flashcards to elicit the new vocabulary: get up, wash up / have a shower, have breakfast / lunch / dinner, get dressed, go to school, have lessons, do my homework, watch TV, play with friends / play sports, go to bed, sleep. Ss write the new vocabulary in their notebooks. T explain to Ss the difference
