Feedback and correction
The teacher shows the pictures of birthday celebration and picnic celebration and asks some of them if they have such experiences.
The teacher describes his/her best happiest moment in his/her life in brief using the structure: the happiest moment of my life was. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Then the teacher asks students think about the happiest moment they have giving different choices like: birthdays, picnic, someones wedding party, travel moment etc.
The teacher splits the class into 2 parts and asks 5 students from each group to present the happiest moment of each students turn by turn from each group.
The teacher asks remaining students, who not get chance to speak, to find out the problems in speaking (if any).
The teacher corrects the mistakes made by the learners while speaking and provides feedbacks.
Some students try to describe their picnic and birthday moments orally
Students listen to the teachers experience
Students prepare for telling their happiest moment.
The students from both groups tell their happiest moment turn by turn and other students in the class listen to their presentation/ speaking about different occasions.
The students try to correct the erroneous expressions made by the presenters.
The learners try to follow the guidelines given by the teacher where they need.
