HALLOWEEN.
Halloween is celebrated on the 31st of October. At this day children wear different costumes like ghosts, mummies, monsters and witches. Children go from house to house, knock the doors and say: Trick or treat! ( угости или хуже будет!). And people usually give them candies. Whats the main symbol of Halloween? Its the Jack-o- lantern.

Esater is a religious celebration. The name Easter comes from Eostre, an ancient Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring. Easter symbols are Easter bunnies, chickens, coloured eggs and sweets. People in Great Britain and America play different games with eggs. Parents hide eggs for children to find. Egg-rolling is a traditional Easter pastime.
THANKSGIVING DAY
Thanksgiving Day is a traditional holiday in the USA and some other English speaking countries. People celebrate this holiday with big dinner. It is a time to remember all the good things in life and to be thankful. People cook special food like roast turkey, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie.
