One of the greatest English churches , St. Pauls Cathedral. The famous English architect Sir Christopher Wren built it in the 17th century, with its famous Whispering Gallery. It took Sir Christopher Wren 35 years. Work on Wrens masterpiece began in 1675 after a Norman church , old St. Pauls , was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666.
Tower Bridge is one of the finest bridges in London. London is famous for its green parks. Until 1749, there was only one bridge over the river: London Bridge. The London Bridge looked very strange. There were houses and shops on the bridge. In the 19th century there were already many new bridges in London. Now there are more than twenty bridges over the Thames.
We reviewed some famous sights of London, but London has wonderful sights which are visited by about 3 mln tourists every year.
