Good morning everybody. Im glad to see you. I hope all of you are in good mood and eager to master English. So, Lets start. Today we are going to read the text The Titanic and learn grammar material about The Participle.
2) Работа с текстом The Titanic, позиционное чтение.
Lets read the dialogue the Titanic. It is a conversation between the interviewer and the survivor of the disaster that took place some time ago. Look at the vocabulary after the text. These words will help you to understand the text. Lets read them. And now Ill divide you into groups and each group will have its own particular task. There will be 7 groups. (объявляю кто к какой группе относится). The group Thesis should give us the main idea of the text, retell the main points. The group Notion should tell the main notions and word expressions from the text. The group Diagram should make the scheme of the text. (Draw the route of the Titanic from the UK to the USA. ) The group Opposition should object to the some points of the text. Группа Apologists should support the main points of the text. The group Associations should express the feelings they have from reading the text and associations caused by the text. The group Symbol should create the symbol of the text. So, read the text silently and do your own task. Then write down the words from page 140.
