Is shopping online a good thing?
Many shops now encourage their customers to visit their websites and purchase goods from there. In fact, due to the recession, some shops have decided to close their shops and now only trade online (Aliexpress). Goods purchased online are usually delivered through the mail, with bigger items and groceries being delivered by truck.
Customers log into the companys web site, and can browse through categories to choose the products they require. They are able to search for goods, look at the pictures, and read customer reviews. Some companies also allow customers to add notes to their order, for example the chicken must be big enough to feed 5 people.
When each item is chosen it is put into a Virtual Trolley and provides the customer with the running total. From the trolley customers are able to edit their order and move to the checkout.
