Teacher: we may say that our pets are domestic animals. Now look at the screen and make up the proverbs from the words. Read these words, please. Translate the proverbs into Russian.

VI. Тренировка навыков монологической речи (беседа о Лондонском зоопарке).
Teacher: Look at the screen and name the capital of Britain.
Pupil: London
Teacher: the place where the endangered animals live.
Pupil: the zoo.
Teacher: If you are interested in wild and exotic animals you should go to the zoo. What do you know about the history of London Zoo?
Pupil: London Zoo is one of the oldest scientific zoos in the world. It was founded in the thirteenth century when exotic animals (leopards and elephants) were first taken to Britain. The animals lived in the Tower of London. Then the polar bear appeared in the zoological society.
