> Group Thesis: The Titanic was the biggest ship, the fastest and the safest one. On the 14th of April, 1912 the Titanic struck the iceberg. Another ship the Californian ignored SOS signals coming from the Titanic. Some passengers escaped getting in the lifeboats, 1,500 people were drowned.
Group Notion: disaster happened, the trip, an eleven-story building, four city blocks long, 9 decks, to travel for fun, smooth, the particular part of the Atlantic, iceberg appeared, struck the iceberg, rockets fired from the Titanic, couldnt sink, lifeboats, escaped, were drowned.

Group Opposition: The Captain of the Titanic shouldnt have acted so carelessly. He should keep in mind that there were lots of icebergs in that part of the Atlantic and feel more responsibility for lives of his passengers. The Captain of the Californian should have reacted to white rockets and SOS signals from the Titanic. The Californian could take some passengers off if its Captain had been more attentive.
Group Apologists: The Titanic was the most beautiful and impressive ship. She was the biggest, the fastest and the safest one. Nobody expected Titanic could sink. All people were having a nice time. Disaster happened when Titanic struck the iceberg. It was very dark that night and the Captain couldnt expect a huge iceberg had appeared. He did all his best to turn the ship but failed to do it. He was a victim of those terrible circumstances.
