Начинается выступление парадом букв. Дети с транспарантами в руках выходят, танцуя и напевая песенку про алфавит.
"Little Johnny"( a poem)
Little Johnnys only three,
He must learn his ABC,
Now then, Johnny, say to me,
Whats the letter before B?
Дети исполняют "The ABC Rhymes".
A A is for apple
It is in the tree
Will you jump a little
And pick it for me?
B B is for ball.
The ball is red and blue.
Lets take it up,
I want to play with you.
A play "The Fox and the Bird"
(Setting: a little bird is sitting in a tree. A big gray fox is looking up at the bird)
Fox. I see a nice little bird in the tree. I should like to have that bird for my dinner.
Bird. Oh, the fox is close. I dont like foxes. They are very bad animals.
Fox. Good morning, little birs.
Bird. Good news? What good news?
Fox. Very good news. All animals are good friends now. Come down from the tree. I want to play with you. I like you very much.
Bird. Oh, yes. You are my friend. But. . . Just a moment. From this tree I can see a big yard. And I see. . .
Fox. And what do you see?
Bird. I see many dogs and they are running to our tree.
Fox. Oh, dogs? Then I must away.
Bird. Dont run away, red fox! All animals are friends now.
Fox. Oh, but dogs dont know about that. I must run away.

C C is for cat
The cat lives in the house
It doesnt like to eat sweet cakes
But it can catch a mouse
D D is for dog
The dog is very smart
It likes to run, it likes to jump
With the children in the yard.
