Put a picture of Miss Naysmith up on the board and explain that for over thirty years Miss Naysmith has lived in her car. Put picture of her car up on board. Differentiation will take place in a number of ways throughout the lesson:

Teacher selection of readers should take into account the relative difficulty of the paragraph in question.
