Introduction
We might be living in a globalized world but non-verbal communication between cultures portrays very big differences where we might feel that we are from different galaxies while conversing with another from different countries or cultures. From a causal conversation to a business meeting with people around the globe, learning how to communicate effectively in various situation is key.
Nonverbal communication can be divided into several categories are: facial expressions, head movements, hand and arm gestures, physical space, touching, eye contact, and physical postures. Non-verbal communication is communication that occurs without words which is continuous. It is body language and environmental context involved in any communication. It is not what is said with words but how it is said and expressed. Universal biological imperatives are associated with a universal set of psychological problems that people need to solve in order to survive; thus, all individuals and groups of individuals must create ways to deal with these universal problems. The ways that each group develops then become their culture.
