- Какой здесь звук повторяется? You are right, the sound Ɵ. А вы можете назвать звук, который произносится аналогично звуку Ɵ? Это звук ð. Name the members of the family with this sound: mother, father, brother, grandmother, grandfather.

-You see, all the people are different: different hobbies, trait of characters, different appearance. And our families are different. Давайте вспомним интервью Линды.
Now look at the pictures of Lindas family - p. 43. What can you say about Linda and her family? What are they?
(Ss possible answers: I think her mother is a doctor I think her father is a manager and her brother is a student, etc).
-Are they a close family? Do they get on well? (T translates the meaning of the expressions: a close family, to get on well with each other).
How would you describe Lindas family, I mean what are their main characteristics?
(Pupils answers: I think her mother is kind. . , etc. )
-Lets make a chart.
