III. Listening:

1). Now I want To kill two birds with one stone. ( убить сразу двух зайцев)
Firstly, I want you to relax.
And secondly, you will learn a new poem.
Pre – listening. T: So, children! We are going to listen to a poem. Open your book at page 128, ex. 18. Now listen to the poem (прослушивание стихотворения с компьютера). During your listening try to answer these questions: Have you understood the poem? How is it called? What is it about? What words do you know?
While – listening.
3). T: Now I want you to read it sentence by sentence and translate. (P1 – P2 – P3…)
4). Listen to the tape and repeat after it. Try to learn this poem.
Post – listening.
5). T: Lets retell the poem sentence by sentence.

Pre-reading.
Now Students lets work in groups. Make groups of four. Ill give you texts about two English families. You see that some words are underlined. Do you know them?
1). So, your task is to find the meanings of these words in different ways. You may use dictionaries or even the Internet (Слайд 6). (уч-ся находят значение новых слов, читают их, переводят, отрабатывают в речи).
2). Read the text and answer the questions: (Слайд 7).
What is your text about?
How many members are there in the family?
What are they?
While –reading.
1). And now students you see the tables. Read the texts and fill in the tables (уч-ся читают тексты, заполняют таблицы и читают полученную информацию по таблице) (Слайд 8).
2). Now imagine that you are two FAMILIES.
Your group is the Brown family & your group is the Claydon family. Choose the roles & become the memb
