Students will:identify colours in English
identify animals in English
verbally say their colours in English
Language objectiveListening to the story (Brown Bear, Brown Bear) which will be read aloud. Learners will listen attentively and recognize when it is appropriate for them to speak
Reading- learners will follow along tin story through the illustrations in the book
Speaking- learners will repeat and recall new English words after the teacher
Writing- non-applicable for Grade 1 learners
