Установка:T. -Let us remember what the polite phrases were used in previous dialogues?
Students answer: excuse me, please.
T. - Look at the students books ex. 3. Look at the map. Act out dialogues using phrases from the table.
As an example of the dialog can be used ex. 1 and 2.
Students answer:
A: Wheres the newsagents, please?
B: Go down Eldon Road. Its on the corner of
Eldon Road and Berry Street.
A: Excuse me. Is there a cafe around here?
B: Yes. Theres one on Eldon Road.
A: Where exactly?
B: On the corner of Eldon Road and Alma
Street.
A: Thank you.
II. A: Excuse me. Can you tell me where the
chemists is?
B: Yes, sure. Go down Bath Street and turn
right. Walk down Eldon Road to Berry
Street. Turn right. The chemists is next to
the fast food restaurant on your left.
A: Thanks a lot.
III. A: Excuse me. Can you tell me where thesquare is?
B: Yes, sure. Go up Eldon Road. The square is
at the very end on your left.
A: Thanks a lot.
