Тема урока: Взгляд в будущее

Задачи:

научить учащихся рассказывать о будущих событиях, делать предсказания, спрашивать и высказывать предположения о будущей жизни;

воспитывать культуру общения;

развитие умения прогнозировать содержание текста, умения вести диалог-обмен мнениями;

развитие умений поискового чтения;

развитие навыков аудирования;

совершенствование грамматических навыков;

развитиетворческогомышления, воображения;

воспитывать культуру общения;

Ход урока

I.Организационный момент

T: Goodmorning, children! I’m glad to see you. Sit down, please. Let’s start our lesson.

P: Good morning, teacher! We are glad to see you too.

II. Вводнаябеседа

T: Today we are going to start a new module. Let`s have a look at the title of this Module. What is the title of the Module?

P: What the future holds

T: What does it mean? What do you think?

P: What life will be like in the future

P: What will happen in the future

T: We`ll speak about our future life,discuss some predictions about the future, what life will be like in 2100, learn how to make predictions about the future.

By the way, what does «prediction» mean?

P: It means what you think will happen in the future

T: There are predictions about the future.

Look at the pictures on p.46. What can you see in the pictures?

VI. Повторение образования и употребления FutureSimple. Освоение структуры придаточных предложений времени и условия. Отработка в речи FutureSimple в утвердительной, вопросительной и отрицательной формах.

a) НАДОСКЕ:What will life be like in the future?

I think life will be very different in the future.

T: Look at the blackboard and read the sentences. What tense do we use to make predictions?

P: We use Future Simple.

T: We use will to make predictions about the future based on what we think or imagine. We often begin our sentence with the words: I think, I`m sure, I believe.

Example: I think life will be very different in 2100.

T:We use the present simple after if and when, not the future simple.

If/when + present simple

If/ When I go to Spain, I will take lots of photographs.

b) ex.4, p.47 (отработка в речи FutureSimple в утвердительной, вопросительной и отрицательной формах; развитие умений вести диалог-обмен мнениями (работа в парах)

T: Work in pairs. Ask and answer questions using the prompts.

Pair 1:

A: Will people drive flying cars?

B: Yes, I think people will drive flying cars. There will be no traffic jams.

Pair 2:

A: Will computers talk?

B: Yes, I think computers will talk.

Pair 3:

A: Will time travel be common?

B: No, I don’t think time travel will be common.

Pair 4:

A: Will people live in underwater cities?

B: No, I don’t think people will live in underwater cities.

c) ex.5,p.47 (освоение построения сложноподчиненных предложений с придаточными времени и условия)

T: Read the sentences and put the verbs in brackets in the correct tense. (Check answers.)

T: Listen to John making predictions about future. Read the sentences first to have an idea of what information you should listen for. Listen and fill in the sentences.

T: Explain the meaning of the phrasal verbs.

(Ss use their dictionaries to look up the phrasal verbs if it is necessary and the theory presented on the board)

c) T: Complete the sentences with the correct phrasal verb in the correct tense.

IX. Итог. Рефлексия.

T: Think of several words you have learnt at the lesson. Use them to make your own sentences about future life.

X. Домашнеезадание.

T: What are your predictions for the future? You can use ideas from Ex.1 as well as your own to write a short text similar to the ones on p. 46. You can drawpictures.

T: Was the lesson boring or not?

Take some cards and put them on the blackboard if you like the lesson or not.
