Viola: Its terrible! My brother sank after the ship struck on a rock! Im alone!
Captain: No, hes alive. I saw him holding on to a strong mast, I hope your brother had survived.
Viola: And do you know anything about this place?
Captain: Of course, madam. I was born not far from this place. It is called Illyria.
Viola: Who governs here?
Captain: It is Duke Orsino, a man of noble nature.
Viola: Ive heard about Orsino from my father and he was unmarried then.
Captain: And he is so now. But people think that Orsino is in love with fair Olivia. Her father and brother have died not long before so she doesnt want to hear about Orsinos love.
Viola: Oh, please, introduce me to Lady Olivia. I will be helpful to her. I want to become her page.
