I. Org. moment-Good afternoon,dear children! How are you today?
II. Warming-up:
I have brought an interesting thing for our lesson! Now, guess, what it is! Use the structure Is there a. . . ?/Are there. . . ?
Lets revise it after me in chorus.
Teacher-Class-Is there a toy,a pen,a book?
-Yes,it is a book. This is the first book Ive read myself.
III. Oral practice
-Do you like to read? (Yes,I do)
-Thats very nice.
2)-Do you know what is a book-warm? A book-warm is a person who likes to read very much. (Teacher shows a picture of book-warm).
3) And today well learn if you are bookwarms or not. To do well have a survey. Take the questions and ask it as many people as you can for 2 min.
Stand up,come around the class and ask questions. (Pupils begin a survey).
Time is over. Take your seats.
4)Now you are to make a report. Take the cards. Read in chorus-
Ive asked / Ive learnt that / all the pupils / half the pupils / only 3 pupils / nobody
And now read your reports.
5) Youve heard the reports. Do you think that you are book-warms? Thats very nice.
6) If you are book-warms then you know the literature genres. What are they?
(Story,legend,fable,story,myth,tale,fairy-tale,poem,novel,play).
7) And now Ill give you this pictures from different compositions and you must choose what genres are they and take your place near the blackboard correctly. (There are 3 genres on the board-fairy-tale,myth and legend,fable).
And now tell me about your pictures. (Pupils answer-Cinderella is from a fairy-tale Cinderella and etc)
