Цели: развитие навыков монологической речи по теме "Каникулы"; активизация навыков чтения; тренировка навыков аудирования и грамматики.
Оборудование: демонстрационная таблица "Видовременные формы глагола".

Организационный момент
- Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning!)
- I am glad to see you. We are glad to see you too. )
- How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)
- 1 am fine, thank you. Who is absent today? (All pupils are present. )
- Lets remember our new poem to greet each other. Listen to me, please.

II. Фонетическая зарядка
- You can see two columns of words on the blackboard. Will you read them aloud, in a whisper? Lets read them after Kate. Can you match the words from the first column and the second one to make up the word combinations? Учитель привлекает внимание детей к словам, записанным в два столбика на доске. Ученики читают слова хором и по одному, громко и шепотом, повторяют слова хором за одним учеником. Затем учитель предлагает учащимся соотнести слова из первого и второго столбиков и составить словосочетания. Примерные слова на доске: to look, watching, going to, to do, to make, reading for, to spend, wonderful. Примерные словосочетания To look sporty, watching videos, going to discos, to do sports, to make friends, reading for pleasure, etc.
