:So, what was it that she hated?
S:Firstly, we were sailing quite a long way offshore most of the time. Secondly, everybody except her was helping. She had the status of a passenger. Her only obligation was to wear a lifejacket and not to interfere. Imagine Susan unable to control anything.
C:Its hard to imagine.
S:She felt really bad, like an outsider, or a, a child told to be quiet and to play with her toys.
C:Couldnt she just enjoy the views, the sunshine, whatever? She should have been happy not to be responsible for anything. I would have.
S:On the contrary. She was unhappy because nothing depended on her.
C:You did it on purpose. Come on. You can tell me the truth. No, I realized it only when we were aboard and I saw her face.
S:Is she planning revenge?
C:Every time we do something together, shes in command. You let her?
S:I do. It frees my mind.
C:So you can cope?
S:Ive got my sailing, my chess and my beer mates. And Ive got you my friend. Thats enough.
