I. Организационный момент, введение темы.
Teacher: Good morning. I hope everybody is ready to work. How are you? What date is it today?
To guess what we are going to talk about have a look at the screen. You can see some pictures, try to guess what we are going to talk at our lesson. (Слайд 1)
Осмысление. Прогнозирование содержания темы. (Учащиеся высказывают свои предположения)
Teacher: So today were going to speak about different types of media and the theme of our lesson is "News stories"(Слайд 2) Well listen you and know what type of media each person use and well listen the texts from different medias
II. Речевая разминка.
Teacher: Id like to begin our lesson with the question: What types of media do you know?
(Учащиеся называют)
Could you look at the screen. (Слайд 3) Use the words and try to make up a sentences to describe pictures on the pages 36-37.
III. Актуализация лексики по теме.
Lets remember some words which will be useful to speak about our theme. Im sure that some of them are already known to you, some words are new. Could you open your student books at p. 36, ex. 2. Please, listen and repeat these words.

Teacher: Well done! And now you see these words at the screen. Could you tell me:
What does each type of media provide us with?
What do you like to use?
You can use the example which you see in your students books to answer my last question.
