Language aims:
Grammar: Greetings. Verb "to be"
Vocabulary: kids, pupil. Im from England. Where are you from? Nice to meet you.
Communicative task: to learn to greet each other and other people around them, be able to ask and give basic information about yourself.
Phonics/reading skills: articulatory: h, e, æ, w, t, d.

Procedure of the lesson
Warm-up:
Teacher greets the children as they come in. Teacher says: Hello and smiles. Teacher encourages them to say Hello in response.
Teacher points to her/himself and says Im (name). Teacher asks children around the class Whats your name? Teacher encourages them to say Im (name). Then answer: Hello, (childs name).
Teacher encourages the children to do the same in pairs.

Presentation:
Encourage pupils to open the book on page 8 exercise 1. Teacher opens his/her own book and holds it up to demonstrate. Explain to tje pupils the words "kids" and grammar construction "Im I am".
