of the most important holidays in many countries, especially in Russia. It is celebrated on May, 9th. Victory day is a day when The Soviet Union won in the Great Patriotic war. There is no family in our country which didnt lose somebody in this awful war. In all towns and cities in our country parades are organized. And the largest parade takes place on the Red Square in Moscow. Usually before Victory Day meetings with veterans are organized in schools. Films about war are broadcasted on TV.
The President of the country puts himself the flowers to the eternal flame. So do other people to show gratitude for those who sacrificed their lives for the future and freedom of their children. So our duty is to keep memory.
