Theme: Dream vacation
Aims: Познакомить учащихся с новой лексической темой "Geography and travelling". Повторить и закрепить конструкцию "to be going to do". Изучить новую грамматическую тему "The Gerund". Развивать память, мышление. Развивать грамматические, лексические, диалогические, монологические навыки. Воспитывать и прививать чувство гордости к своей Родине.
Ход урока:
1 Орг. Момент. Приветствие.
Good morning! Who is on duty today?
Write the date. Today we will take a new theme "Dream vacation" we begin a new passage "Travelling". Can you translate our theme? Also we will get to know a new grammatical theme "Gerund".

5. Presentation a new grammatical theme "Gerund".
Gerund is a non-finite form of the verb with - ing ending.
It has exactly the same form as the Present Participle.
It can be used in the following ways:
a) As subject of the sentence.
Dancing bored him.
b) As complement of a verb.
Her hobby is painting.
c) After prepositions
He is fond of singing
d) After certain verbs
Dislike,enjoy,finish,forgive
It is used :
1 after prepositions (before,after,without,by,about,at,to,of)
2. after certain verbs: travelling,doing,
3. as a subject of
