Now like to refute the arguments of the team Prodigy.
The first speaker of the opponent team said, that the computer games influence badly the childrens health. But we know that there are many circumstances in our life which influence our health badly. Id like to adduce the fact from the journal "Zdoroviye" 10, 2000:
"Russian doctors held a research among children from 10 till 15 years old. The result of this research showed that 87 of these children had distortion of the spine and aggravation of their sights". But there are many other diseases which children can catch at school. Nevertheless children go to school and nobody says that its harmful and they mustnt go there.
And the same we can say about every job in which people undermine their health. And computers cant influence childrens sight. Id like to cite the fact from the newspaper Student, December, 1999 "Computer monitors produce even lower electromagnetic emanation than any other electric equipment, such as a TV-set an iron, a tape-recorder or a VCR". And if we say that computers are harmful, so we mustnt use TV-sets, irons, or VCRs and other electric equipment, which is used every day in our life.
The same newspaper writes that the radiation, which can get a man sitting at the computer for a year is equal to the radiation got from a medical X-ray. Besides nowadays the industry produce special monitors Which protect the person from emanation. Thats why we cant say that only computer games influence childrens health.
