2. Developing: To develop students skills and habits in speech. Pay attention to the reading, writing, speaking and critical abilities. To teach to understand the text for listening, to develop communicative skills.
3. Bringing up: To bring-up students interest to learn new facts about discoveries and inventions.

The procedure of the lesson:
1. Teachers Introductory Word.
T: Good morning, my dear students! Im glad to see you. I invite you to take part in the lesson devoted to inventions and inventors. Youll learn a lot of useful information about achievements of scientists from different countries. Also youll have plenty of practice in translation. I hope that by the end of the lesson youll improve your translation skills.
2. Warm up.
T: Its interesting for me what of the modern inventions do you have at home? T: Now answer my questions, please.

P1: I use many of them: a car, a computer, a refrigerator, a vacuum cleaner and so on.
T: I see. What is the most useful thing for your mother?
P2: In my opinion, it is a cooker.
