By the middle of the next year Hitler had invaded Russia. England had been saved, it would have been impossible for Germany to invade Britain while fighting in Russia too.

75 years ago the USA entered the Second World War. American people may really be proud of what their country has done during the war.
1941. The USA made the lend-lease programme. In August the Soviet Union joined it. On the 7th of December the war started for America with the sudden attack of Japan on the Naval base of the USA IN Pearl-Harbor. 2403 people died.
1942. The USA conducted several successful operations in the North Africa, Italy and in the Pacific Ocean Region. The American Army and Navy were also at war in Japan and New Guinea.
1943. In Casablanca the President of the USA Roosevelt and the Prime-Minister of Great Britain Churchill had the meeting where they discussed the capitulation of Germany. The USA started bombarding Germany this year.
