It makes it possible to communicate with people with a different worldview and mentality, which ultimately contributes to the destruction of stereotypes. Knowledge of foreign languages promotes penetration into the past of peoples, knowledge of their present, foresight of the future 3; 23-25. Reading literature and watching feature films in the original language allows us to gain a deeper understanding of the work of writers and directors. Studying foreign languages helps to better understand the meaning of words in the native language, to trace the influence of one language on another. It also opens up for people the possibility of easier travel to different countries of the world of communication in them.
Let us clearly designate the factors that determine the study of foreign languages:
work - knowledge of a foreign language will help to find a more promising job, get a promotion, go on a business trip to another country, etc . ;
science - without knowledge of foreign languages by scientists, it is impossible to familiarize themselves with foreign sources and interact with foreign colleagues;
study - to study in other countries and study their culture and art;
emigration;
travels;
religion - the preaching of religion in different countries of the world;
personal motives - international marriages, communication with foreign friends, hobbies.
