This place is situated not far from Penza- 130 kilometers, in Lermontovo village. You can get there by car. It will take you 2. 30 hours to get there by car from Penza. One of the most famous Russian Poets-Mikhail Lermontov lived here with his grandmother. When he was young, he liked to play with peasant children near a beautiful lake or in the garden. Now you can visit his house and houses of his servants(they are museums now), enjoy wonderful nature and buy some souvenirs.

Nikolsk - one of the towns in Penza Region. It is 120 kilometers far from Penza. You can get there by bus or by car and it will take you 2. 15 to get there. First it was a village. In 1764 its ownerfounded a crystal factory. In 1920 it was named "The Red Giant" ("KrasnyiGigant"). It became famous all over the world. Now many things made of crystal in Nikolsk are in different Russian museums. A lot of tourists visit Nikolsk. They also want to see the Museum of Crystal.
