Основной этап урока:
T: Dear Pupils, our lesson is called Family ties, what do you think are we going to learn during the lesson? Lets formulate the objectives of this lesson. Pupils suggest their views of the objectives gudging by the title of the lesson.
T: Guys, look at the diary on page 56 and tell what you see. Could you tell me, what members of family do you see? Now lets pronounce the family words all together. Pupils pronounce the words in chorus.
T: This time will you look at the pictures and the title of the diary to tell me what it is about. Pupils describe the pictures and guess the contents of the diary.
T: Now read the text on page 56 individually and do exercise 2. Pupils get acquaintant with the task and read the text to mark the statements True/False/Doesnt say. Now lets check the answers: pupils read the statements in chain calling out True/False or Does Not Say
T: Now lets work with dictionaries. I would like you to find the meanings of the adjectives describing family members in the dictionaries.
