aster has become more of a secular holiday, reports.
A mini-Halloween is being held on either Thursday or Saturday before Easter. Little girls dress up as witches and go door to door with a copper kettle asking for treats. It is believed that on that day witches flew off on broomsticks to dance with the devil.

India
Christians all over the country, especially in Mumbai, Goa and the Northeastern states, make arrangements for Easter festivities. People attend churches for special prayers and rituals on Easter Sunday. Although people do not decorate Easter eggs in India, they buy beautifully decorated Easter eggs from the stores and present them to their children, reports.
Easter bunnies are also sold in the stores. During the celebration it is a tradition to exchange gift items with each other.
Israel
Easter celebrations have more religious significance in Israel than feasting and celebrations. Countrys orthodox Jews celebrate the Passover while Messianic Jews celebrate Easter like the rest of the Christians around the world. It is connected with the fact that Orthodox Jews do not accept Jesus Christ to be the Messiah sent from God, and therefore they do not celebrate his Crucifixion or his return from the kingdom of death. During Easter, many processions are held in Israel. At one oclock in the afternoon on Easter day, the church leader goes into Jesus tomb and the doors are closed after him. The lights of the entire city are being switched off and later the church bells ring and the church leader comes out with a burning torch, reports.
The torch is said to have been lit inside the tomb on its own without any external interference and everyone present in the procession at that time, lit their candles from the holy fire.
